When water flows through an Aqua Conditioner it hits turbulence, triggering a catalytic reaction that neutralises the minerals' scaling property. Here's the simple version.

Turbulence deactivates the scaling property

As water is squeezed through the offset discs of the alloy core, extreme turbulence creates a catalytic galvanic reaction. This deactivates the adhesive (scaling) property of the hard minerals.

Big minerals become tiny nano-colloids

Large Calcite structures are converted into smaller, inactive Aragonite nano-colloids, reducing the surface tension of the water and making it softer. Crucially, the mineral content stays exactly the same.

Water behaves like soft water

The changed molecular structure means the water flowing out behaves like soft water. The inactive particles stay suspended and glide away instead of sticking to your taps, geyser, mirrors and skin.

Like a UV purifier, but for hardness

A UV purifier doesn't remove bacteria, it nullifies their effect. In the same way, an Aqua Conditioner doesn't remove minerals; it nullifies their scaling effect by making them inert.
